2. Student Podcast - (Analyze, Interpret, Select, Develop, Refine, and Convey Meaning for and through Presentation)
Students create a podcast of what was covered K-5 throughout the month. This is a 100% student created and run podcast. In addition to using Google docs to work on the script, they use music production tools to create all music as well as produce the video. Students work collaboratively to select the content all the way down to transition sounds. As part of the podcast, students select one featured member of the school or community to address their impact on music and their lives. Click on the blog post link below to listen to the sign-off podcast from last year where students sent a formal letter to Graham Hepburn to serve as their featured guest. In addition to the podcast, there is a behind the scenes video of students holding the interview.
